Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience

• Previous hospital or commercial housekeeping experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and effectively communicate with patients and staff in English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow infection prevention, safety, and departmental procedures.

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, public spaces, and support areas following hospital and infection prevention standards.
• Perform discharge cleaning to prepare patient rooms for new admissions.
• Safely handle and dispose of waste and soiled linens using established safety protocols.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies while following proper chemical handling procedures.
• Support cleaning and disinfection of surgical and procedural areas, where applicable.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by interacting professionally and respectfully with patients, visitors, and team members.
