Job Summary: The Environmental Service Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in all assigned areas, including offices, lodging, event spaces, and field sites. This role ensures that facilities meet health and safety standards, provides a clean and safe environment for staff and guests, and supports team operations through efficient and thorough cleaning practices. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and deep cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, lodging rooms, and common spacesClean, disinfect, and sanitize surfaces, equipment, and high-touch areas to meet health and safety standardsDispose of trash, recyclables, and biohazard materials properlyMaintain and restock cleaning supplies, equipment, and hygiene products as neededFollow all health, safety, and infection control protocolsAssist with setup and breakdown of event spaces, including ensuring cleanliness before and after eventsReport maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisorsWork collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasksMaintain an organized and sanitary work environment, including storage areas for supplies and equipment Qualifications: Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial, or environmental services preferredKnowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipmentAbility to follow instructions, procedures, and safety protocols accuratelyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasksPhysical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periodsFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as requiredGood communication and teamwork skills
