We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to oversee environmental remediation projects from inception through completion. This individual will be responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, field operations, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in environmental remediation, contaminated site cleanup, or environmental construction. Experience managing asbestos abatement projects is highly desirable but not required.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple environmental remediation projects simultaneously.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project execution.
- Ensure projects comply with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
- Conduct project planning meetings and monitor project progress.
- Review contracts, change orders, invoices, and project documentation.
- Track labor, equipment, and material costs to maintain project profitability.
- Coordinate environmental sampling, waste disposal, transportation, and regulatory reporting.
- Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions.
- Perform site visits to monitor safety, quality, and production.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable environmental standards.
