Shift: Night shift - 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM, 12 hour rotating shifts - 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off

Summary

We are seeking an Environmental Monitoring (EM) Core Technician to support GMP production and aseptic processing of clinical-grade products. This role is responsible for performing environmental monitoring activities, maintaining cleanroom environments, preparing manufacturing documentation, and operating laboratory and manufacturing equipment. Candidates must be available to work a 12-hour rotating night shift and complete training on first shift for the initial 4 6 weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the Environmental Monitoring (EM) process in support of GMP production of viral therapies.
  • Conduct cell culture and product purification using aseptic technique when required.
  • Coordinate Environmental Monitoring equipment needs with the QC EM team for manufacturing processes.
  • Draft, complete, and revise manufacturing documents, including Batch Records and EM forms.
  • Prepare buffers and components, including operation of a steam autoclave.
  • Operate manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment supporting routine clinical production.
  • Operate Environmental Monitoring equipment such as Solairs, ApexZ50, and active counters.
  • Maintain, stock, and set up cleanroom environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences preferred.
  • Basic laboratory experience with a Bachelor's degree, or intermediate laboratory experience within a cGMP clinical production environment with a High School Diploma.
  • 1 3 years of relevant experience in the lab background.
  • Experience supporting GMP production and aseptic processing.
  • Knowledge of environmental monitoring processes.
  • Experience with cell culture and product purification using aseptic techniques.
  • Experience preparing manufacturing documentation, including Batch Records and EM forms.
  • Experience operating steam autoclaves and laboratory/manufacturing equipment.
  • Must be available to train on first shift, 5 days per week, for the first 4 6 weeks.
