Description

  • Guides program or project specific operations to maintain compliance with the Environmental Management System (EMS), Project Environmental Plans, and Lane Requirements.
  • Manages a particular project or program within the EMS.
  • Assists with developing and implementing procedures in accordance with the EMS.
  • Completes permit applications, environmental plans, recordkeeping and reporting as required by environmental regulatory agencies.
  • Maintains awareness of any changes to environmental laws and regulations that impact the Project/Area of their assignment.
  • Ensures employees are trained on environmental regulations and practices.
  • Identifies potential environmental impacts, reduce, control and/or eliminate environmental risks.
  • Performs and/or manages environmental inspections.
  • May manage environmental personnel.
  • May represent Lane on industry association environmental committees.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
