About the Role

The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving environmental, health, and safety programs that protect employees, ensure regulatory compliance, reduce organizational risk, and support business objectives. This role serves as a trusted partner to site leadership and employees by providing EH&S expertise, guidance, and support that promote a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace.

The EH&S Specialist will identify hazards, assess risks, conduct training, support compliance initiatives, and collaborate across departments to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Coon Rapids, MN, with occasional travel to other Lexington Manufacturing locations.

The salary range for this role is $60,000-$72,000. 

Core Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture through training, coaching, and employee engagement.
• Conduct inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Support EH&S compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Partner with operations to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain compliance records, reporting, and documentation.
  Support emergency preparedness and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of EH&S, safety, environmental compliance, or related experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, audits, inspections, investigations, and risk assessments.
• Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• OSHA 30, ASP, CSP, or similar certifications are a plus.
• Occasional travel required.
