This is an opportunity to make a visible impact by working directly with employees and leaders to strengthen our already strong safety culture, reduce risk, and ensure our facilities meet environmental and regulatory requirements.The EH&S Manager will help mainntain a consistent company-wide approach to safety while remaining actively involved in daily operations.     • Lead and continuously improve EH&S programs, policies, procedures, and site-specific plans across multiple manufacturing locations.Provide guidance to executive and operational leadership on regulatory compliance, workplace risk, and safety strategy.Build strong relationships with employees and leaders to encourage participation, hazard reporting, stop-work responsibility, and accountability for safe work practices.Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including OSHA and EPA regulations, written programs, required postings, and recordkeeping.Maintain OSHA 300, 300A, and 301 records, evaluate recordability, and complete TCEQ, Tier II, and other required reports within established timelines.Manage workers' compensation reporting and case administration, including prompt claim submission, fact gathering, communication, and return-to-work follow-up.Conduct regular floor walks, safety inspections, job hazard analyses, ergonomic reviews, and risk assessments.Investigate injuries, near misses, property damage, environmental events, and unsafe conditions to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.Document identified hazards and drive practical corrective and preventive actions through completion.Develop and deliver new-hire safety orientation, required annual and refresher training, supervisor training, and task-specific instruction.Maintain accurate training records and monitor completion across company locations.Support and enforce programs involving PPE, hazard communication, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, emergency response, fire prevention, powered industrial trucks, respiratory protection, hearing conservation, and other manufacturing risks.Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, evacuation drills, incident response, and required regulatory notifications.Manage environmental compliance activities involving hazardous materials, waste handling, spill prevention and response, permits, inspections, and applicable air and water requirements.Track and communicate EH&S metrics, incident trends, open corrective actions, training completion, and workers' compensation performance.Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Human Resources to incorporate EH&S requirements into equipment changes, process improvements, facility projects, and daily operations.Serve as the primary contact for regulatory inspections and EH&S audits, including coordinating responses and corrective actions.Lead and support site safety leads by setting clear goals aligned with Evantic's EH&S strategy.Travel regularly to company facilities to provide onsite support based on operational and business needs. Typical travel schedule :Regular travel between the 3 locations in Houston and Tomball (alternating days of the week) and Quarterly to the east coastPerform other duties as assigned.
    What You Will Bring
    • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental science, engineering, industrial hygiene, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered with the minimum requirement of HS Diploma or GEDFive to eight years of progressive EH&S leadership experience in a similar manufacturing environment.Experience supporting EH&S activities across multiple manufacturing locations.Demonstrated experience with OSHA compliance, incident investigation, workers' compensation reporting, safety training, and corrective-action management.Experience with EPA regulations, hazardous waste management, and environmental compliance.OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification required.ASP, CSP, CHMM, or a similar professional certification is highly desirable.Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

    Physical Requirements
    • Ability to spend significant time in active manufacturing, warehouse, laboratory, and office environments.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; climb stairs; bend, stoop, kneel, and reach; and access equipment and work areas.Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 35 pounds.Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and respond promptly to incidents throughout the facility.Ability to travel by vehicle and air to company locations as required.
    Work EnvironmentThis position is fully onsite and regularly works in manufacturing and warehouse areas where there may be exposure to moving machinery, noise, dust, chemicals, varying temperatures, and other industrial conditions. Required personal protective equipment must be worn. Regular travel to other company locations is expected.
