    Description

    The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all policies, programs, and compliance measures that ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace. This role serves as a strategic partner to Operations — balancing regulatory requirements with production realities to reduce risk, protect KDM's people and environment, and advance a strong, visible safety culture across all shifts and departments. The ideal candidate is self-directed, highly credible on the plant floor, and skilled at turning findings into corrective action.
     
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Compliance & Regulatory Management
    • Inspections, Audits & Risk Assessment
    • Training & Safety Culture
    • Incident Management & Reporting
     
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 General Industry standards.
    • Experience managing safety committees, conducting regulatory training, and maintaining OSHA 300 recordkeeping.
    • Hands-on experience with incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action management.
    Preferred
    • Master's degree in a related field.
    • Professional certification: CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager), CHST, or equivalent.
    • Familiarity with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards.
    • Experience in print, POP display, chemical-handling, or similarly regulated manufacturing environments.
    • Experience with environmental permitting and hazardous waste management programs.
