    Environmental Health & Safety Leadership Program Description:

    The Environmental Health & Safety Leadership Program (EHSLP) is designed to prepare candidates for EHS roles within our North American manufacturing facilities. It provides early exposure to leadership training, accelerating their careers with various post-program paths, including EHS Leadership roles. Participants complete the entire program at an Owens Corning manufacturing plant. This 24-month structured development offers mentorship from experienced EHS leaders, specialists, and engineers, providing experiential and formal training in the following areas:

    • Management systems understanding & implementation

    • Procedure & policy development and implementation

    • Training & development and delivery

    • Regulatory process

    • Project management

    • People leadership influence

    • Manufacturing process knowledge

    Program Outcome: Upon completion, participants will be placed in a full-time assignment as a EHS Leader or Specialist at a North American Owens Corning manufacturing plant.

    What We're Looking For:

    • Enthusiastic attitude with the ability to creatively navigate tasks and connect people to solve problems

    • Takes initiative to competitively drive results

    • Executes against goals and timelines

    Selection Criteria:

    • Preferred bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety management, Chemical engineering or an equivalent field

    • Previous relevant internships/co-ops in a manufacturing setting

    • Analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to lead projects and development project plans

    • Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations

    • Willingness and flexibility to relocate (assistance provided) during or upon completion of the program

    Location of Assignment:

    Participants are based at various manufacturing sites in the US.
