Safety And Environmental Health Manager

Safety Leadership
- Develop and lead comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain regulatory compliance with OSHA, Cal-OSHA, and related standards.
- Drive safety initiatives that improve employee engagement and accountability.
- Serve as a key resource during regulatory inspections and audits.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis efforts.
Environmental Compliance
- Manage environmental permits, reporting requirements, and compliance programs.
- Oversee hazardous waste management, air quality, stormwater, and wastewater compliance.
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and emergency response procedures.
- Support environmental and regulatory readiness programs.
Training & Employee Development
- Design and deliver EHS training programs for employees and contractors.
- Build certification and competency-based training systems.
- Ensure ongoing compliance through regular education and communication programs.
Continuous Improvement
- Establish EHS KPIs and performance dashboards.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Partner with leadership to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
- Promote long-term culture change through visible leadership and employee engagement.

Bachelor's degree required. 7+ years of EHS experience within manufacturing. Strong understanding of OSHA and Cal-OSHA regulations. Proven success leading safety culture transformations. Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in food manufacturing strongly preferred. CSP certification is advantageous.
