Work Environment
The Field Technician works in a field-focused, team-oriented environment alongside water, wastewater, and stormwater professionals. The role involves daily travel to project sites, often starting the day by meeting at a central location and riding in a company truck with team members to the field. Work takes place on active bases and at facilities such as treatment plants, transmission and collection systems, pump stations, drainage systems, and related infrastructure. The position requires regular travel across the country to various naval bases, with site visits lasting up to two weeks at a time depending on project size and complexity. The team is small and collaborative, offering close interaction with colleagues and opportunities for mentorship and growth. The culture emphasizes professional development, challenging and meaningful work, and a supportive environment where ideas matter and employees can have a positive effect on the community. Fieldwork may involve outdoor conditions, exposure to water and wastewater systems, and adherence to safety practices and appropriate field attire suitable for construction and environmental inspection activities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $36.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
