    Fieldstone Land Consultants is seeking an Environmental Department Manager to lead and deliver environmental consulting projects, with a focus on wetlands, permitting, and environmental services.

    This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects from start to finish; balancing fieldwork, technical expertise, and team coordination, while working closely with leadership in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead environmental projects, including;
    • Wetland delineations
    • Environmental permitting (Local, State & Federal)
    • Oversee and review technical reports, permit applications, and supporting documentation
    • Conduct and supervise fieldwork, data collection, and site evaluations
    • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
    • Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies throughout project execution
    • Provide guidance on wetland regulations and compliance requirements
    • Support restoration, mitigation, and environmental project work
    • Supervise and mentor junior staff in both field and office settings
    • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure efficient, high-quality project delivery

    Qualifications:

    • BS or higher in environmental science, biology, environmental engineering, or related field
    • Certified Wetland Scientist or equivalent professional certifications
    • 5-10+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting
    • Strong experience with wetland delineations, environmental permitting, and technical report preparation and review
    • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations
    • Familiarity with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permitting processes
    • Proven ability to manage projects, timelines, and priorities
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
