Description

Our client, an environmental services company, is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to support permitting, monitoring, and reporting activities across its Philadelphia-area operations. This is a contract position suited to a professional with a solid grounding in federal and state environmental regulations who can work independently while coordinating with site managers and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Review facility operations for compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations

  • Coordinate with site managers to address compliance gaps

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in environmental compliance or regulatory affairs
  • Working knowledge of EPA and Pennsylvania DEP regulations
  • Experience preparing permit applications and compliance reports
  • Strong written communication skills for regulatory documentation
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple site deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and environmental data management systems
  • Valid driver's license for occasional site visits
