A growing environmental consulting and engineering organization in Orange County is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to support and expand its environmental compliance practice. This is an opportunity to join a highly respected team and play a visible role in helping clients navigate environmental regulations, develop compliance programs, and proactively manage risk.

What You"ll Do

• Support environmental compliance projects from initiation through delivery
• Prepare and manage regulatory reports, inspections, and compliance documentation
• Assist clients with hazardous waste, hazardous materials, stormwater, SPCC, and related environmental programs
• Communicate directly with clients regarding project status, compliance requirements, and data collection
• Conduct site visits and field assessments as needed
• Help establish recurring compliance programs and long-term client solutions
• Collaborate with technical specialists, engineers, and project managers
• Contribute to a growing compliance consulting practice with opportunities for increased responsibility over time

What We"re Looking For

Preferred Experience

• 4-7 years of environmental consulting, compliance, or regulatory experience
• Experience supporting multiple projects and clients simultaneously
• Strong environmental reporting and technical writing skills
• Experience interacting directly with clients and project stakeholders
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Valuable Technical Backgrounds

We welcome experience in areas such as:

• Hazardous Waste
• Hazardous Materials
• SPCC Programs
• Stormwater Compliance
• Environmental Reporting
• Multi-Site Environmental Compliance
• Industrial Environmental Programs
• Environmental Auditing

Experience with multiple environmental programs is valued more than deep specialization in a single discipline.

Additional Information

Location: Orange County, CA

Schedule: Full-time, in-office

Travel: Occasional local and regional travel to project sites

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
