    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to provide on-the-floor EHS support at a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on manufacturing experience, and a solid understanding of workplace safety regulations and best practices.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct routine floor audits and safety observations.
    • Support employee engagement and workplace safety initiatives.
    • Assist with incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
    • Monitor compliance with EHS policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Provide EHS guidance and coaching to operators, supervisors, and managers.
    • Assist with hazard identification and risk reduction activities.
    • Support safety training and communication initiatives.
    • Maintain EHS documentation and assist with compliance-related activities.

    Required Qualifications

    • Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Required EHS certification from the approved certification list.

    Required Knowledge & Experience

    • OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) programs and machine safety.
    • Fall Protection requirements and implementation.
    • Dock safety, including pedestrian and powered industrial vehicle interactions.
    • ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems.
    • Emergency Response Programs, emergency preparedness, and incident management.
    • Risk assessment and hazard identification methodologies.
    • Incident investigation and corrective action processes.
    • Employee safety engagement and behavior-based safety initiatives.
