LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a highly respected law firm in Houston near the Galleria to hire an Entry Level Transactional Legal Assistant. This is a full-time, fully onsite role offering hands-on experience, strong mentorship, and long-term growth potential.
? Key Details:
- Full-time | Fully onsite
- Schedule: 8:00-5:00 or 8:30-5:30
- Compensation: $40,000 - $50,000 DOE
- Growth-oriented role with internal promotion opportunities
? What We're Looking For:
- 1-3+ years of professional administrative or legal support experience
- Exposure to Real Estate, Corporate, Finance, or Trust & Estates preferred
- Strong organizational skills with ability to support multiple attorneys
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with legal billing software (Aderant preferred)
- Typing speed of 70+ WPM
- Experience with state and federal e-filing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading abilities
- Resourceful, proactive, and positive attitude
- Seeking long-term growth (not frequent short tenures)
?? Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain files, correspondence, and documents
- Coordinate meetings, travel, and calendars
- Draft and edit legal documents and correspondence
- Assist with preparation of closing binders and transaction documents
- Handle e-filing in state and federal courts
- Prepare and process pre-bills and invoices
- Support attorneys across multiple practice groups
- Assist with CLE tracking and administrative reporting
