    The Tools technician will be responsible for testing and maintenance of EVA Training Tools/Hardware components for Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL) Training events as well as other tools classes/ events. Technician will perform duties per documented processing procedures. Tool technicians will assist Engineering in various activities in reference to tool maintenance/refurbishments. Technicians will interface with other technician, engineering, logistics and bond room personnel on a daily basis to perform job duties.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Processing EVA Training Tools to support various training events
    • Maintaining and repairing of EVA Training Tools/Hardware as required
    • Ability to work from drawings/schematics, equipment specifications, test procedures etc.
    • Maintaining certifications to perform job functions
    • Ability to work in various job related database, i.e. SARAH, On Base
    • Perform NBL Safety Walk Through
    • Able to operate motor vehicle for delivery of hardware to various events
    • Keeping Lead informed of currents status of hardware to meet event/customer milestones
    • Assisting other team mates as required with tool processing.

    Requirements

    • Must be able to perform physical activities
    • Must be able to pass a class III Physical
    • Experience with Pressure Systems
    • Excellent oral communications
    • Capacity to work in a team environment

    Education and Experience

    High School Diploma or equivalent, Technical Trainining
