Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes according to manufacturer specifications
- Inspect vehicles and complete multi-point inspections
- Check and top off engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, washer fluid, and other essential fluids
- Verify and adjust tire pressure
- Rotate tires as assigned
- Replace drain plugs, oil filters, air filters, cabin filters, and wiper blades
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Learn proper repair procedures from experienced technicians
- Safely operate shop equipment and tools
- Deliver quality workmanship while providing an exceptional customer experience
Qualifications
- Interest in pursuing a career as an Automotive Service Technician
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Automotive school or previous shop experience is a plus, but not required
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must have basic hand tools
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
