    About the Position:

    GSM Insurors is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our SmallGroup & Individual Health department. This is an excellent opportunity forsomeone looking to start a career in the insurance industry. No prior insuranceexperience is required—we provide on-the-job training and support to help yousucceed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
    • Service and market existing small group, individual health, life insurance, ancillary, and Medicare products.
    • Review, market, and manage new business opportunities.
    • Maintain accurate client records across multiple systems.
    • Maintain required state licensing and carrier certifications.
    • Ensure compliance with agency policies, carrier requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
    • Prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Maintain confidentiality of client information.
    • Assist with departmental projects and other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Previous customer service or office experience preferred.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
    • Ability to learn new software and technology quickly.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Texas General Lines –Life, Accident & Health license (or currently licensed).
