Haddad Subaru of St. Albans is growing, and we’re looking for the right person to join our Service team.
This is an entry-level position with the opportunity to learn, grow, and advance within the dealership. Automotive experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train someone who is dependable, organized, enjoys working with people, and wants to build a career in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting Service Advisors with checking in customers, especially during busy morning hours
- Preparing and managing loaner vehicle paperwork
- Providing coverage for Service Advisors on their scheduled days off
- Assisting with internal repair orders for our Sales and Service departments
- Working closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, Sales staff, and management
- Helping make sure our customers receive a great experience from the time they arrive until their vehicle is ready

- Dealership or automotive experience is a plus, but not required

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Being able to master all aspects of the Service Coordinator job description (see SC Job Description)
- Ability to lead the department by example. This means taking "turns" from SCs on more difficult type of service calls, mastering new calling scripts and being an expert on all word tracks.
- Becoming an expert with the Service CRM software
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of two years customer service experience normally obtained as Service Client Care Coordinator or similar position
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
