Location: Fernley, NV 89408

Duration : Temp-to-Hire

Pay rate : $25-$27 (DOE)

Monday–Friday 6AM-4:30PM Friday & Saturday Overtime.

Note: 1–2 years of experience in welding, fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or project coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with coordinating multiple welding, fabrication, and construction projects.
Help track project schedules, deadlines, and production timelines.
Review basic project drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
Communicate with shop supervisors, welders, field crews, vendors, and subcontractors.
Assist with ordering and coordinating materials and equipment needed for projects.
Track labor hours, material costs, and other basic project expenses.
Maintain project paperwork, reports, change orders, RFIs, and other documentation.
Provide clients and internal teams with project updates as needed.
Assist with scheduling field work, deliveries, and installations.
Conduct occasional site visits to check project progress and communicate any issues.
Follow company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
Assist with quality control and project closeout.
Learn and support the overall project management process from start to completion.
Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in welding, fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or project coordination preferred.
Entry-level candidates with relevant construction or welding experience are encouraged to apply.
Basic understanding of welding, structural steel, fabrication, or construction processes preferred.
Ability to read or willingness to learn how to interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Willingness to learn project scheduling, estimating, and cost tracking.
Valid driver's license.
Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar software is a plus but not required.
AWS welding knowledge or certification is a plus but not required.
