This role focuses on operating and monitoring production equipment to manufacture small metal parts in a high-safety, precision-driven environment. You will work in either the Molding Department or the Second Operations (2nd Ops) Department, performing tasks such as molding, trimming, sorting, placing, and inspecting parts. The position requires mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, and strict adherence to safety practices, including the use of safety toe shoes.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in an injection metal molding manufacturing facility where the production floor is densely arranged with molding machines, robots, grinders, and other equipment, creating a busy and crowded environment. There is a strong emphasis on safety, with clear procedures and guidelines that must be followed at all times, including the use of safety toe shoes and appropriate protective gear. Work is performed on structured shifts, including options in the Molding Department such as a swing shift (Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm), and in the 2nd Ops Department with day or swing shifts typically arranged as four 10-hour days. The environment is hands-on, mechanically focused, and fast-paced, with frequent use of microscopes, gauges, calipers, presses, CNC machines, pad printers, and various hand and power tools.
