Entry-Level Quick Lube Technician

We’re currently seeking entry-level Quick Lube Technicians! An ideal opportunity for recent high school auto shop graduates or technical school graduates ready to start a long-term career in the automotive industry.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: Starting Pay is $18.00-$20.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, and supplemental insurance options. You’ll also have 401k retirement options with annual company contributions (up to $8,000 per year) and Paid Vacation!

What we’re looking for:
At Nissan and Mazda of Elk Grove, we are looking for someone who wants to start their journey into building a long and successful career. The ideal technician should be detail oriented, be effective and efficient, have general tool knowledge, and the following:

• Recent auto shop or tech school graduates encouraged to apply
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
• Basic automotive knowledge preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• High school diploma or equivalent for relevant automotive education/experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record as required by the position
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with diagnostic tools
• Positive, customer-focused attitude
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

What you’ll do:
In this position you’ll be performing routine maintenance to help our customers keep their vehicles safe and on the road. Below are some of the responsibilities to uphold:

• Perform oil changes and filter replacements
• Check, top off, and replace vehicle fluids
• Inspect and adjust tire pressure
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections
• Use diagnostic tools and service equipment
• Communicate part needs with the Parts Department
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Follow dealership and manufacturer standards
• Communicate vehicle needs with Service Advisors
• Perform work in accordance with manufacturer warranty guidelines
