Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Entry-Level Machinist / Manufacturing Associate to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position involves general shop machining duties, operating manufacturing equipment, and following production instructions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on machining experience and develop valuable manufacturing skills. Full training is provided.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate shop machinery safely and responsibly.
- Read, understand, and follow written work instructions.
- Follow verbal directions and maintain attention to detail.
- Perform general shop machining and manufacturing duties.
- Use basic math skills to support daily production tasks.
- Demonstrate good hand coordination and manual dexterity when operating equipment.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Follow established safety procedures and work instructions.
Qualifications
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic math skills required.
- Working knowledge of calipers and micrometers required.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work under pressure.
- Good manual dexterity in both hands.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
