LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a highly respected law firm in Houston near the Galleria to identify an Entry Level Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, fully onsite role offering strong mentorship, hands-on experience, and long-term growth potential.
? Position Highlights:
- Full-time | Fully onsite
- 40-hour workweek (8:00-5:00 or 8:30-5:30)
- Compensation: $40,000 - $50,000 DOE
- Growth-oriented role with strong internal promotion track
? What We're Looking For:
- 1-3+ years of legal or professional administrative experience
- Background in civil litigation (commercial, insurance defense, or personal injury) preferred
- Strong understanding of Texas state and county court systems
- Experience with state and federal e-filing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with legal billing software (Aderant preferred)
- Typing speed of 70+ WPM
- Excellent communication and proofreading skills
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Resourceful, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
- Seeking long-term stability and growth (not frequent job changes)
?? Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize correspondence, legal documents, and electronic files
- Manage calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and attorney support needs
- Draft and edit legal documents and correspondence
- Handle e-filing in state and federal courts
- Assist with pre-bills, invoicing, and administrative coordination
- Prepare litigation materials and support case management
- Provide general administrative and litigation support across practice groups
- Coordinate CLE tracking and firm-related administrative tasks
