Entry-Level Lab Technician

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Lab Technician to support daily laboratory and production activities. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career in a laboratory or manufacturing environment, with hands-on training provided in a regulated setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Assist in the safe handling of biological and hazardous materials following established safety guidelines
• Support routine cleaning, sterilization, and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment and production tanks
• Prepare glassware, filtration components, and other materials needed for lab and production work
• Follow established schedules and instructions to assist with production or lab activities
• Accurately follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines
• Operate basic lab equipment such as centrifuges, pH meters, balances, mixers, and filtration systems (training provided)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate degree in a scientific field (Biology, Chemistry, or related preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new processes
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a structured, regulated environment
• Basic understanding of laboratory safety practices is a plus
• Familiarity with SAP or similar systems is helpful but not required

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orangeburg, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr.
