Position Summary
PIRTEK is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Mobile Service and Sales Technician (MSST) to join our growing team. In this role, you will operate out of a fully equipped service van, respond to customer calls, and provide on-site hydraulic hose repair, replacement, and related services. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, customer interaction, and solving problems in the field.
Responsibilities
- Respond to service calls and travel to customer job sites throughout the Houston area.
- Diagnose hydraulic hose and fitting issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Service, assemble, fabricate, and install hydraulic and industrial hoses.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service van.
- Deliver professional, customer-focused service on every job.
- Accurately complete work orders, service records, and related documentation.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain compliance standards.
- Support business growth by identifying opportunities to build customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Prior hydraulic, mechanical, automotive, or industrial service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
- Be willing to participate in rotating on-call coverage as required.
Preferred Experience
- Hydraulic hose or fluid power experience.
- Field service or mobile mechanic experience.
- Experience working with industrial, construction, or manufacturing equipment.
