We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Entry-Level Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role involves performing various tasks that require physical strength, technical skills, and attention to detail. The Entry-Level Field Service Technician will contribute to the overall efficiency and quality of our projects while adhering to safety protocols. This position requires a valid driver's license, as the applicant will operate company vehicles throughout their shift. Hours vary between 30- 40 hours a week. 
 


Duties


  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures.
  • Assist in installing AC/Heater window units in mobile units (40ft, double-wide, and storage containers).
  • Responsible for customer service calls across the DMV and the Tri-State metropolitan areas. (Traveling involves)
  • Diagnose and solve problems, such as malfunctioning systems, and communicate issues to clients, vendors, and office staff.
  • Assist with interior and exterior work, painting, patching, roofing, and repairing damaged floors on mobile trailer units on customer sites. 
  • Collaborated with the supervisor to troubleshoot, maintenance repairs, and construction in areas including, but not limited to, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, framing, drywall, and trim for residential/ commercial customers.

Experience


  • Previous experience in construction (Mobile Trailer), manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with various tools and machinery used in skilled labor tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks effectively. 
Special Considerations:


  • Local daily travel and occasional overnight stays
  • May be required to drive extended distances to customer sites
