As employees gain experience, many pursue certifications, expand their responsibilities, or explore opportunities across service lines and office locations.About The Role:As an Entry-Level Construction Materials Engineering Technician, you'll help verify that construction materials and work being performed meet industry standards and project requirements. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience through field testing, inspections, and construction observation while building technical knowledge and skills that will help you build a long-term career.Learn Construction Materials Testing: Begin with concrete sampling and testing, then expand into soils, asphalt, and masonry as you grow.Earn While You Learn: Receive paid, on-the-job training and support for ACI and ICC certifications.Preform Testing & Documentation: Perform field and lab tests, maintain equipment, and ensure accurate, complete daily reporting.Support Inspections: Conduct onsite inspections, document your findings, and submit your results into MetaField®.Outdoor Work Environment: Enjoy working outside year-round in changing conditions, with new sites and crews keeping things exciting and challenging.Field Work, Schedule & TravelThis position is primarily based outdoors on active construction sites throughout Georgia. Work schedules may vary based on project needs and weather conditions and can include early mornings, evenings, weekends, occasional holidays, and overtime opportunities paid at time-and-a-half.
