Entry-Level CDL-A Regional Truck Driver

Seeking recent CDL-A graduates to operate regional dry van routes. This entry-level position is for drivers who have completed truck driving training and are pursuing steady, no-touch freight assignments on a regional schedule while representing the employer professionally at customer locations and on the road.

Estimated annual compensation: $70,000 to $80,000.

Home time: Two days every other week.

Equipment: Late-model Freightliner tractors; automatic; fully equipped. Freight: Dry van; 100% no-touch.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Transport dry van freight on assigned regional routes according to assigned schedules.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections; promptly identify and report defects or maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate driving logs, inspection records, and required maintenance documentation in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch and follow customer delivery instructions and schedules.
• Conduct oneself professionally at customer sites and during interactions on the road.

Minimum qualifications:

• Valid CDL-A license.
• Completion of at least 120 hours of truck driving school within the last 12 months.
• Minimum age: 21 years.
• Ability to meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements for commercial drivers.
