What Youll Be Doing As an Entry-Level Carpenter, youll work alongside experienced carpenters and foremen while gaining hands-on experience in a variety of construction scopes, including: Installation of retail fixtures, displays, décor packages, and millwork Installation of wall panels, trim, doors, hardware, and accessories Assisting with framing, drywall, rough carpentry, and interior finishes Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing construction materials Loading, unloading, and organizing materials and tools Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area Learning to read plans, layouts, and project drawings Safely operating hand tools and power tools Supporting project teams in active retail environments. What Were Looking For
1+ years of construction, carpentry, or related trade experience preferred Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools Willingness to learn carpentry and construction methods Strong work ethic and positive attitude Dependable and punctual Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team Reliable transportation Ability to travel to project locations and stay up to 2 weeks at a time, as project schedules require Commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship
