Job Description:
We are seeking a highly3 skilled Entra ID Security Engineer with strong expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), authentication, authorization, and Azure security solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) solutions to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant identity management across the organization.
The candidate will play a key role in implementing security controls around identity, access governance, MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, and privileged access management while collaborating with security, infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) solutions to support secure authentication and authorization processes.
• Manage application onboarding, application registration, enterprise applications, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Implement and support Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot authentication protocols including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
• Develop and manage Conditional Access policies based on user risk, location, device compliance, and security requirements.
• Support Identity and Access Management (IAM) operations, troubleshooting access-related issues and ensuring secure and scalable solutions.
• Implement security best practices for Azure products, services, and identity solutions.
• Utilize Microsoft Sentinel for security monitoring, alert creation, threat detection, and incident response automation.
• Provide production support and respond to identity and security incidents in a timely manner.
• Establish and maintain identity governance frameworks, including Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and privileged access controls.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to support identity integrations and automation initiatives.
• Stay updated with Microsoft Azure security features, identity threats, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Experience designing and managing authentication and authorization solutions.
• Strong understanding of:
  • MFA implementation
  • SSO configuration
  • Conditional Access policies
  • RBAC
  • Identity Governance
  • Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
• Hands-on experience with authentication protocols:
  • OAuth
  • OpenID Connect
  • SAML
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel / SIEM solutions for monitoring and incident response.
• Knowledge of Azure security best practices and Zero Trust security principles.
• Experience supporting enterprise identity environments and resolving production security issues.
• Basic understanding of DevOps concepts, automation, and scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PowerShell scripting for Azure identity automation.
• Knowledge of Azure security services and Microsoft security ecosystem.
• Experience working with enterprise application integrations and federation services.
• Understanding of compliance and security frameworks.
