Entertainment Host-SW

Purpose/Objective of the Role:

To be the entertainment/host of entertainment at The 842. The space has a small stage with its own sound system and microphones. There are also several TVs throughout the space. That can be used as part of the production of the entertainment on site.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• To provide unique entertainment for students to enjoy
• Provide welcoming atmosphere
• Report of equipment that is broken or not functioning as intended
• Be responsible for hosting Karaoke on their own with microphones, speaker, and connectors for connecting laptop to tv provided.
• Communicate with The 1842 staff
• Fair and unbiased signup list management of singers

Qualifications:

• Willingness to work with others
• Good communication skills
• Available to work nights and weekends

• Experience in Management
• Hospitality experience
• Working in group settings
