About the Position
The Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) Administrator facilitates the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise application solutions. Works directly with stakeholders from City Departments including Human Resources and Finance to deliver solutions. Leads and performs system implementations, integrations, data design and management, report development, business and workflow analysis and project management activities. Performs a wide range of management, analytical and system maintenance functions.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Experience with on-prem and cloud-based public sector integrated ERP software.
Experience in and a working knowledge of the following:
Tyler Technologies platform
NeoGov Software
Microsoft Windows server and client operating systems
Microsoft SQL databases (SSAS, SSIS, SSMS, SSRS)
Microsoft Power BI
Experience reviewing Statements of Work (SOWs) and coordinating external software vendor/consultant deliverables.

Knowledge of: Financial, Payroll and Human Resources systems and business processes; Microsoft SQL Server database environments and the use of associated tools for integration development, database objects, and programming objects; structured IT change management frameworks and release governance practices; principles of technical vendor oversight, Statements of Work (SOW) structure, service-level agreements (SLAs), and public sector technology procurement practices; enterprise system security principles; principles and practices of information technology database administration, security policies and procedures, backup procedures and information systems pertaining to City departments
Skill in: project management; analyzing information, research, and organizing work; using technical and analytical knowledge to solve technical problems and making effective decisions; effective oral and written communication; creating written communication materials that effectively summarize findings and support recommendations; promoting change in business processes through the creation of workflows, feature sets, and technological efficiencies; applying organizational and technical change management methodologies to evaluate impact, align stakeholder expectations, guide business process transitions, and drive end-user adoption; administering, maintaining, upgrading, patching, and analyzing complex database systems; generating solutions to address user needs.
Ability to: develop reports and write technical documentation, specifications, and procedures, and to provide end-user training; communicate technical information to a non-technical audience; direct quality assurance and user acceptance testing by writing test plans and managing the execution of testing (Unit and User Acceptance Testing); work independently and effectively on self-directed priorities and in-group settings with technical and non-technical staff; prioritize and manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines; manage vendor relationships, evaluate vendor performance and deliverables against SOW milestones and SLA requirements, and resolve scope or technical delivery disputes; analyze trends in the industry and make informed decisions about which alternative will have the best long-term value to the organization, based on knowledge of the organization and department's goals and objectives; use computerized systems for extended periods of time in order to perform the essential functions of the position; attend and incorporate learning from approved trainings on a regular basis; provide training and assign tasks to project teams; provide excellent customer service, get along with coworkers, and maintain effective working relationships; maintain confidentiality and exercise high degree of discretion and judgment in dealing with sensitive or confidential information; remain on-call for after-hours, weekend, and holiday response; travel among City worksites and to training/ conferences; use the following tools and/or equipment: multi-line phone system, cell phone, computers with associated software, computer equipment, computer tablet, copy and fax machines, and other related tools and equipment; obtain and maintain CJIS security clearance, including completion of required security awareness training and a fingerprint-based background check.
