    Job Description 

    We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Project Manager to support high-priority IT initiatives under the direction of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). This role will be responsible for managing multiple medium-to-large-scale projects, collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors, and ensuring successful project delivery within scope, schedule, and quality expectations.

    Key Responsibilities

    Project Planning & Execution

    • Lead and manage multiple IT projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
    • Assist business teams in gathering and documenting business requirements.
    • Coordinate project activities to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
    • Monitor project progress and proactively address schedule, scope, and resource challenges.

    Risk & Issue Management

    • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues.
    • Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
    • Monitor risk triggers and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Escalate critical risks and issues to leadership in a timely manner.

    Stakeholder & Vendor Management

    • Collaborate with internal teams, leadership, business units, and external vendors.
    • Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder communications.
    • Build strong working relationships across departments to ensure project success.
    • Coordinate vendor activities and monitor outsourced project deliverables.

    Reporting & Documentation

    • Prepare and maintain project management documentation, including:
      • Project Plans
      • Status Reports
      • Risk Registers
      • Issue Logs
      • Project Metrics
      • Executive Presentations
    • Provide regular project status updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
    • Develop presentations and reports for management review and decision-making.

    Program & Portfolio Support

    • Support portfolio and program management activities.
    • Track project performance metrics and reporting requirements.
    • Ensure adherence to organizational project management standards and methodologies.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and project governance processes.

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum 3+ years of Project Management experience.
    • Strong project management background within healthcare, insurance, government, or enterprise IT environments.
    • Experience developing and executing project plans, schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
    • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
    • Strong risk management and issue resolution experience.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to present project information effectively to executive leadership.
    • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and drive projects to successful completion.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with Medicaid systems, healthcare claims systems, or healthcare delivery systems.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI certification.
    • Experience working in state government or public sector environments.
    • Experience managing enterprise-level technology initiatives.
    • Knowledge of project governance and portfolio management practices.
