The State of South Carolina is looking for an Enterprise Project Manager - Consultant
Why is this position open: New position to manage a software implementation in the PMO Division.

Work Location: Hybrid. Onsite expectations depend upon project needs and can be expected to range between once per month and once per quarter with little notice.
Candidate location: Candidate must be a CURRENT SC resident. No relocation allowed.

The role provides oversight and coordination of agency-wide initiatives, ensuring effective resource management, project governance, and successful project delivery.
Continued support in this capacity is essential to maintain operational continuity, advancing strategic initiatives, and ensuring the successful execution of the agency's project portfolio.
Scope of the project:
This position supports the agency's project management and governance functions, including implementation of the new Project Management System, portfolio oversight, dashboard reporting, user training, and stakeholder support. As the PWA is decommissioned, the role will provide expertise in system implementation, project visibility, organizational change management, and leadership of strategic projects aligned with the South Carolina Department of Public Health.
Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include supporting large-scale technology and business projects, maintaining project management standards and best practices, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and enhancing project management maturity across the organization.
Work Mode (Hybrid, Onsite, Remote): Hybrid, onsite presence is based on project needs and can be anticipated to be between once per month and once per quarter.
Required Skills (Rank in order of Importance):
- 15+ Years of Experience with Project Management
- 10+ Years of Experience with State or Federal IT Projects
- 10+ Years of Experience with implementing Project Management Systems
- 8+ Years of Experience creating Power BI Dashboards
- 10+ Years of Experience with Change Management Preferred Skills (Rank in order of Importance):
