Enterprise Project Manager

The Senior IT Project Manager will support project management and governance initiatives, including implementation of a new Project Management System, portfolio oversight, dashboard reporting, organizational change management, user training, and strategic project leadership. Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager with extensive experience leading large-scale government technology initiatives, implementing project management systems, and supporting enterprise PMO and governance functions. This is a hybrid position in Columbia, SC.

The Senior IT Project Manager will support project management and governance initiatives, including implementation of a new Project Management System, portfolio oversight, dashboard reporting, organizational change management, user training, and strategic project leadership. This role will work across multiple stakeholder groups to improve project visibility and strengthen project management practices throughout the organization.

Duties:

• Lead and support large-scale technology and business projects from planning through implementation.

• Support the implementation and adoption of a new enterprise Project Management System.

• Provide portfolio oversight and improve visibility into project status, risks, milestones, and performance.

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting to support leadership and project decision-making.

• Establish and maintain project management standards, processes, governance, and best practices.

• Lead organizational change management activities associated with new systems, processes, and technology initiatives.

• Develop and deliver user training and support for project management systems and processes.

• Facilitate communication and collaboration across business, technical, and leadership stakeholders.

• Support the transition and decommissioning of legacy project management tools.

• Lead strategic projects and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.

• Identify opportunities to improve project management maturity, reporting, and governance across the organization.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of project management experience.

• 10+ years of experience supporting state or federal IT projects.

• 10+ years of experience implementing Project Management Systems.

• 8+ years of experience developing Power BI dashboards and reporting.

• 10+ years of organizational change management experience.

• Strong experience with project portfolio management, governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively with technical teams, business users, and leadership.

• Experience with public health software implementations is preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

• PMP or CSM certification required.

• CompTIA A+ certification is a plus.
