Enterprise Data Architect

Segra is searching for a qualified and experienced Enterprise Data Architect to join us in a full-time capacity.

Location Requirement:The work arrangement for this role is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of three (3) days in the office, with flexibility to work remotely two (2) days each week.

Role Overview:Data Architecture involves transformation, continuous improvement, and documentation of Segra's data ecosystem to modern, scalable, cloud-enabled architecture. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise data strategies, modernizing data environments, and enabling advanced analytics, AI, and business intelligence capabilities.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience/combined education

Required Experience:

8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise architecture roles.5+ years leading enterprise-scale data modernization initiatives.Experience designing and implementing cloud-based data platforms.Strong understanding of:

Data warehousingData lakes and lakehousesData integration patternsData modeling methodologiesMaster data managementMetadata managementData governance frameworks

Experience with SQL and modern data engineering technologies.Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms.Knowledge of AI/ML and enterprise data architectures supporting artificial intelligence initiatives.Experience implementing DataOps and Agile delivery methodologies.TOGAF, Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or relevant architecture certifications.Experience leading data architecture and enterprise transformation programs.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000Beyond competitive health and retirement benefits with immediate 401(k) vesting, Segra also invests in your total well-being through programs supporting physical, mental, financial, and social wellness.
