    Position Summary
    The Digital Content Manager & Vendor Coordination Specialist will support the planning, development, management, and delivery of digital learning content and resources across multiple projects and stakeholders. This contractor will serve as a central coordinator among internal teams and external vendors, ensuring the successful development and deployment of high-quality, accessible digital content and asynchronous learning modules.
    The ideal candidate possesses strong digital content creation expertise, experience managing vendor relationships and deliverables, knowledge of instructional design principles, and demonstrated proficiency in Section 508 accessibility compliance standards.
    Key Responsibilities
    Digital Content Development
    Develop, manage, and maintain digital content for online learning environments and professional learning initiatives.
    Editing engaging multimedia content, including videos, graphics, presentations, e-learning modules, and web-based resources developed by vendors, externally.
    Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate content into effective asynchronous learning experiences.
    Ensure consistency of branding, messaging, and instructional quality across all digital products.
    Asynchronous Learning Design
    Design and develop self-paced learning modules using instructional design best practices.
    Support the creation of learning pathways, online courses, microlearning experiences, and resource repositories.
    Incorporate learner engagement strategies, assessments, and multimedia elements into asynchronous content.
    Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and digital authoring tools to build and maintain learning experiences.
    Vendor Coordination & Project Management
    Serve as the primary liaison among multiple external vendors, consultants, and service providers.
    Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, reviews, and approvals across vendors and stakeholders.
    Monitor vendor performance and ensure deliverables meet established quality, accessibility, and contractual requirements.
    Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and communication among all parties.
    Identify and escalate project risks, dependencies, and resource needs as appropriate.
    Accessibility & Quality Assurance
    Ensure all digital content meets Section 508 accessibility requirements and applicable WCAG standards.
    Conduct accessibility reviews and remediation of digital materials.
    Provide guidance and recommendations to vendors and stakeholders regarding accessible design practices.
    Implement quality assurance processes to ensure digital content is functional, learner-centered, and compliant.
    Stakeholder Engagement
    Collaborate with leadership, program staff, instructional teams, technology teams, and external partners.
    Gather requirements and translate stakeholder needs into actionable project plans and deliverables.
    Support reporting, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts across projects.
    Required Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communications, Digital Media, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
    Minimum of 3 years of experience developing digital content and learning resources.
    Experience managing projects involving multiple vendors and stakeholders.
    Demonstrated experience creating asynchronous learning modules and online learning experiences.
    Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning best practices.
    Working knowledge of Section 508 accessibility requirements and digital accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 or higher).
    Experience reviewing and remediating digital content for accessibility compliance.
    Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
    Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
    Preferred Qualifications
    Experience in K-12 education, higher education, government, or public sector environments.
    Experience with learning management systems (Canvas, Moodle, Schoology, Blackboard, etc.).
    Experience using authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, or similar platforms.
    Familiarity with project management practices.
    Certification in accessibility, project management, instructional design, or related fields, (e.g.: CAPM: Certified Associate Project Manager, IAAP CPACC: Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies, Relevant Linked-In Learning, Coursera or similar certificates for instructional design principles and/or authoring tools).

    Provide routine project updates, timelines, and status reports.
    Maintain documentation related to project development, accessibility reviews, and vendor deliverables.
