Job Title: Enterprise Cloud Architect 890
Location: Downey, CA 90242
Assignment type: Temporary (12 months w/ high chance of extension or hire)
Pay rate: $70-$75/hour

Description:

• Design, configure, and manage AWS and Azure cloud network infrastructure.
• Build highly available, fault-tolerant, and multi-region cloud architectures.
• Implement hybrid connectivity using AWS Transit Gateway and Azure ExpressRoute.
• Provision and manage Megaport Virtual Cross Connects (VXCs).
• Optimize network traffic, routing, and high-availability designs.
• Deploy and manage cloud load balancers (AWS ELB, Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway).
• Configure virtual firewalls, NVAs, and native cloud security controls.
• Design VPC/VNet peering, hybrid, multi-region, and multi-cloud solutions.
• Manage BGP routing across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Ensure secure, compliant cloud network architectures.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of AWS and Azure cloud network engineering experience.
• 4+ years of high-availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery design.
• 4+ years of advanced cloud networking (Transit Gateway, ExpressRoute, routing, load balancing, hybrid connectivity).
• 4+ years of Megaport networking and VXC implementation.
• 4+ years of traffic engineering, network security, firewall deployment, and secure connectivity design.
• Must hold one of the following certifications:
  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
