Overview
Microsofts Windows Device Sales (WDS) organization partners with the worlds largest device and technology companies to bring Microsoft software and services to market through compelling hardware solutions globally. WDS plays a critical role in driving Microsofts revenue, profitability, and platform growth by shaping the device ecosystem across OEMs, channels, distributors, resellers, and silicon partners.
As part of the WDS Business and Strategy Operations organization, the Program Management Office (PMO) enables Microsoft enterprise growth motions through scalable operating models, governance processes, investment management capabilities, and cross-functional execution. PMO works across Sales, Category, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to ensure strategic opportunities are executed consistently, investments are managed effectively, and business outcomes are measurable. The team owns the operational mechanisms that connect business priorities to execution.
WDS is expanding its Enterprise Commercial initiatives and establishing a new Senior Program Manager role focused on Enterprise Opportunity Management. This role is responsible for managing the operational lifecycle of enterprise opportunities, ensuring governance requirements are met, stakeholders are aligned, investments are tracked, execution activities progress effectively, and business outcomes are measured from initiation through completion.
Role Scope & Impact
As Senior Program Manager, Enterprise Opportunity Management, you will own the operational governance and orchestration of enterprise opportunities across Microsofts commercial device business. You will partner with business leaders, investment owners, engineering teams, sales stakeholders, operational teams, and PMO leadership to drive visibility, accountability, and execution excellence throughout the opportunity lifecycle.

Required/minimum qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
Masters Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
OR Bachelors Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 12+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
OR equivalent experience.
4+ years of experience in Program Management, Sales Operations, Business Development, Operations, Finance, Compliance, or a related field.
Experience managing complex, cross-functional programs or operating processes that require stakeholder alignment, governance discipline, reporting, and execution follow-through.
Experience using data, reporting, dashboards, or scorecards to manage program health, operational performance, business outcomes, or executive updates.

Business Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
