Title: Enterprise Applications Architect Consultant
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19122
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 4 days onsite initially; may transition to up to 2 remote days/week
based on performance.

Job Description
Seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications Architect to lead enterprise application architecture, modernization, cloud adoption, integration, and architecture governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define enterprise application architecture, standards, and roadmaps.
  • Design scalable microservices, APIs, event-driven, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Lead application modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
  • Architect integrations across enterprise, SaaS, third-party, and cloud platforms.
  • Define HA, resiliency, performance, security, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Establish architecture governance and design review processes.
  • Partner with business, infrastructure, cloud, and security teams.
Required Skills
  • 10+ years in enterprise/solution/application architecture.
  • 5+ years Azure architecture; working knowledge of AWS/GCP.
  • Azure: App Services, AKS, Functions, Azure SQL, Service Bus, Monitor/Application Insights.
  • .NET/.NET Core, Java/Spring Boot, Python, Angular.
  • Microservices, DDD, SOA, REST/gRPC, messaging, and enterprise integration.
  • AI/GenAI: Azure OpenAI, Azure AI, RAG, Semantic Kernel, LangChain/LangGraph.
  • DevSecOps/CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
  • IAM: Entra ID/Azure AD, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SSO.
  • Kubernetes, containers, networking, observability, HA/DR, and performance optimization.
  • Strong architecture governance, stakeholder management, and technical leadership.
Preferred
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, AWS, or Google Cloud certification.
  • Experience with SRE, FinOps, Zero Trust, Agile/SAFe, and regulated environments.
