 WIOA Eligibility & Enrollment Intake Specialist

 Pay: $20.00 per hour
 Schedule: Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
 Position Type: Temporary to Permanent
 Start Date: Immediate

 

We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven WIOA Eligibility & Enrollment Intake Specialist who can start immediately and support high-volume eligibility determinations, certifications, and enrollments. This position plays a critical role in maintaining contract performance goals through accurate, timely, and fully compliant documentation.

 

This is a production-focused role requiring strong policy interpretation skills, meticulous documentation standards, and the ability to manage back-to-back appointments while maintaining audit-ready files.

 

Position Overview

The selected professional will focus exclusively on WIOA eligibility determination and enrollment processing for Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth programs. The role requires precision, speed, and compliance, ensuring all participant files meet monitoring and audit standards.

 

Candidates must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment while maintaining strict confidentiality and documentation integrity.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct eligibility determinations for:
    • WIOA Adult
    • WIOA Dislocated Worker
    • WIOA Youth programs
  • Collect, verify, and accurately document required eligibility documentation
  • Complete certifications and enrollments within the workforce case management system
  • Enter detailed, compliant case notes
  • Upload, organize, and maintain documentation to ensure audit readiness
  • Schedule and conduct certification and enrollment appointments within required timelines
  • Meet weekly enrollment benchmarks and production goals
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity standards

 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in:
    • Workforce development
    • Case management
    • Eligibility determination
    • Compliance-based documentation
  • Prior experience working with WIOA Adult, Dislocated Worker, or Youth programs
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to interpret and apply federal and state policy guidelines
  • Experience working within state workforce case management systems
  • Experience preparing files for monitoring or audit review
  • High level of organization and time management
  • Ability to manage high appointment volume while maintaining compliance
  • Comfortable receiving and implementing corrective feedback quickly

 

Preferred Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in:

  • Human Services
  • Business
  • Public Administration
  • Related field
