Available on October 2026

The Syosset Central School District seeks a Leave Replacement English Teacher for Syosset High School. The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• Hold NYSED certification in English 7-12 required

• Prior successful experience teaching English

• Ability to align instruction and assessment with the NYS English Framework and Next Generation ELA Standards.

• Outstanding communication competencies using a multitude of in-person and networking platforms.

• Exemplary organizational, time-management, and collaborative abilities.

• Expertise in differentiation of instruction to support the success of all students

• Ability to collaborate with a highly respected faculty and staff

Salary per Syosset Teachers Association contract
