The Quabbin Regional School District is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) English Learner (EL) Teacher to provide English language development instruction and support to multilingual learners English learners (ELs) in grades PreK-12.
This is a district-wide position serving all identified ML/EL students across the district. Regular travel between school buildings is required.
Job responsibilities Provide direct English language development instruction based on students'' individual language proficiency levels and educational needs.
Assess students'' English language proficiency and instructional needs to determine appropriate services and supports.
Administer required language proficiency assessments, including WIDA Screener and ACCESS for ELLs.
Coordinate and support state testing requirements for EL students, including MCAS accommodations and designated supports.
Monitor student progress, maintain required documentation, and use assessment data to inform instruction.
Collaborate with classroom teachers and administrators to support student achievement and access to grade-level curriculum.
Support the identification, placement, monitoring, and reclassification of EL students in accordance with state and federal requirements.
Salary and benefits according to QRTA Contract - starting range $63,981
