Job Title: Engineering Test TechnicianJob Description

Work Environment
This role operates in both field and laboratory settings. In the field, the Engineering Test Technician works on active construction sites, performing tests on soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates in outdoor conditions that may include heat, cold, rain, or other weather variations. The position requires frequent standing, walking on uneven surfaces, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds to move equipment and samples. In the laboratory, the technician uses construction materials testing equipment and tools to perform standardized tests and record results. Work hours may align with typical construction schedules, which can include early start times and occasional overtime depending on project needs. Safety is a core focus, and the technician follows established safety procedures, uses appropriate personal protective equipment, and adheres to all relevant safety and quality standards while performing testing and inspection activities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
