Job Title: Engineering Technician
Job Description
The Engineering Technician supports laboratory product testing by performing hands-on equipment setup, instrumentation, assembly, and teardown activities. This role focuses on preparing products and test fixtures so technicians can concentrate on executing tests. It is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, comfort working with electrical wiring and components, and the ability to follow detailed procedures in a laboratory environment. Prior engineering lab experience is not required, and training is provided for new equipment and processes.

Work Environment
This role is based in a laboratory test environment focused on product testing and development. Work is hands-on and involves frequent use of basic hand tools such as sockets, screwdrivers, wrenches, and hammers, as well as regular interaction with electrical wiring, wire harnesses, and instrumentation components. The technician works around test equipment, fixtures, and prototype products, following established procedures and safety guidelines. The environment emphasizes organization, cleanliness, and continuous improvement, with technicians collaborating closely with test technicians to support test preparation and execution. Standard laboratory attire and appropriate personal protective equipment are expected to ensure a safe and professional workspace.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00/hr.
