Job Title: Engineering Technician/New Product Development

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our client's team in the new product development sector. In this role, you will contribute to testing and characterizing new materials and designs, organizing and preparing reports on test data, and supporting engineers in optimizing and reporting on complex tests or processes.
Responsibilities
- Set up and conduct testing and characterization of new materials and designs using routine and non-routine tests in support of development projects.
- Collect, organize, and prepare short reports on data from tests, including analysis and conclusions.
- Work with engineers on the set up, optimization, and data reporting for non-routine and complex tests or processes.
- Maintain organization, functionality, and cleanliness of test facilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional training is a strong plus.
- 0-3 years of related experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software.
- Practical, hands-on work experiences.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Previous laboratory experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, quality control, chemical, environmental, or oilfield laboratory environments.
- Associate degree or coursework in a technical or science-related field.
