The Nevada Automotive Test Center (NATC) is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Technician for our Silver Springs, Nevada location. In this role, you will support a multidisciplinary team responsible for designing, manufacturing, and testing innovative automotive solutions. POSITION SUMMARY: Assist in the design, development, fabrication, modification, and testing of ground vehicles and related equipment. Create, maintain, and apply technical documentation to support vehicle engineering and test programs. Develop and utilize 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, work orders, specifications, and sketches to support the fabrication, repair, modification, and installation of components and systems. Support the development of new vehicle concepts and associated engineering analyses. Conduct automotive testing activities, including test plan development, instrumentation setup, test execution, data collection and analysis, and the preparation of final reports and other technical documentation.
