    Description

    Our client, a Energy Services company, is looking for a Engineering Technician for their Santa Clara, CA location.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide primary support for metrology and analytical tools and equipment
    • Perform repair and system recovery on equipment owned
    • Work with OEM to troubleshoot and investigate root cause
    • Maintain professional interaction with internal teams and external vendors (OEMs)
    • Log all tool-related activities in the designated database
    • Coordinate with OEM suppliers at the start of each shift regarding onsite schedules
    • Conduct daily walkthroughs of assigned buildings/equipment to:
    • Monitor equipment status and all support equipment
    • Organize and schedule preventive maintenance (PM) on responsible tools
    • Perform SPC wafers and record data for tool stability trending
    • Notify and schedule repairs and PM using the provided database
    • Escort OEM suppliers and assist with technical support as needed
    • Participate in on-the-job training for technical tasks and minor tool modifications
    • Update equipment status and repair records daily
    • Maintain and organize supplier manuals and documentation in electronic format
    • Mentor junior technicians as required
    • Perform system qualifications and wafer recovery tasks
    • Support customer management programs by documenting SPC runs and equipment status
    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • Years of Experience: 0 - 2 years
    • Recent college graduate in electronics or with 3-4 years of industry experience
    • Basic knowledge of semiconductor processes and analytical equipment
    • Understanding of safety and cleanroom protocols
    • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks in an R&D environment
    • Experience with equipment operation, calibration, and qualification
    • Self-starter with excellent time management skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Familiarity with hazardous materials and SEMI E10 standards
    • Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting
